The World Economic Forum’s 6th Annual Meeting of the New Champions, also known as the "Summer Davos" has just wrapped up, in the northern port city of Tianjin. During the three-day forum, economists, business leaders and policymakers gathered and contributed their ideas on how to sustain global growth.
Xie Sisi, Tianjin, said, "More than 2,000 delegates from the political and economic elites of over 86 countries attended this year’s forum. With the theme of "Creating the future", many agreed that the world should strive for a sustained economic growth via such means as the development of green economy and new technologies."

The EU’s debt crisis and obstacles to U.S. economic growth were also addressed during the three-day event.
China, the world’s second largest economy, is shifting from export-led growth into a consumer-driven economy. This has brought challenges to industries and institutions that must prepare the workforce for the transformational forces of economic and technological change.
